DREAMS + HARD WORK + DEDICATION = SUCCESS . . . Presenting to you all – The 4th edition of JCD Memoirs…. This is a life changing, classical “Rags to Riches” story of Dr. Amarjeet Kumar (BDS – Dental Surgeon) – A Distinguished Alumini of JCD DENTAL COLLEGE, SIRSA. He hails from a very small place जहानाबाद, बिहार and belongs to a small farmer family. अमरजीत ने 2008 में +2 pass करने के बाद अपने गांव में एक छोटा path lab खोला – He used to collect blood and urine samples, travel to Patna, get the tests done and then in the evening would give away the reports for a small commission of 10-20 rupees. He joined JCD Dental College in the year 2011 and since then he has come a long way. He was a sincere student and what stood out was his eagerness to learn. He would never go home during holidays to avoid spending money. Instead, he would work in the emergency opd or in the evening opd and hone his skills. After 3rd year, जब उसने थोड़ा काम सीख लिया, he started working in local clinics for pocket money. My only role was to support him and guide him on his journey. To tell the truth, he had so much fire in his belly, he did not need much of it. Currently he is successfully running two dental practices in Jehanabad, Bihar. Recently, he has started a new start-up venture for Online Consultancy and Drug delivery – Medipriya. It gives me immense pride and a feeling of satisfaction that I could be a part of his journey. In this 2nd edition, we take immense pride and satisfaction in showcasing the journey of one of our most Distinguished alumini, the star ⭐ of the 2nd batch – Dr. Gunjeeta Diwakar Iyer. Hailing from the small town of Rewari to completing her DDS from University of Michigan, USA which is one of the best dental schools of the world, she has gone a long way. -She was Sincere, hardworking, Gentle yet affirmative -Class Rep all throughout -2007 – 2010 – Best Athlete award @JCD Vidyapeeth’s Annual Athletic meet -A trained classical dancer and cultural co-ordinator – Best Outgoing student award from JCD, something she replicated later on when she was awarded the ” Top International Graduate” from the University of Michigan, USA during her DDS. In one word ” ALL ROUNDER” Loved by one and all.

“There are no secrets to success. It is the result of preparation, hardwork and learning from failure” – Colin Powell. . . It is my pleasure to share the story of another distinguished alumini of JCD Dental College – Dr Sandeep Kumar (MDS, Orthodontics). He started his journey in dentistry with JCD Dental College by joining the 3rd batch of BDS students – Batch of 2007. After completing his BDS @JCD Dental College, he worked as an Ex – Resident @AIIMS New Delhi (2014 – 15). After clearing AIPG entrance examination with a rank of 401 (CR 10), Dr. Sandeep joined MDS Orthodontics @ BHU – Varanasi (2015 – 18). Upon completion of MDS from BHU, he expressed interest in serving his alma mater and joined JCD Dental College as a Sr. Lecturer. Apart from that, within a short time, he has successfully developed his own clinical practice and also works as a consultant in over 25 dental clinics. . . His is a story of the average student. Though Dr. Sandeep was not the topper of the class or exceptional academically, he has shown that if someone works Hard with Determination mixed with perseverance, Success can be achieved and so He has. We are proud to have him as a student and now as our faculty.
