MDS

ADMISSION CRITERIA & ELIGIBILITY:

  • MDS Admissions shall be made strictly on the basis of merit in NEET-MDS 2024 and as per guidelines issued by Govt. of India/D.C.I/DMER, Govt. of Haryana/Pt. B.D. Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak.
  • A candidate for admission to the MDS course (Master of Dental Surgery) must have a recognized degree of BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) awarded by a recognized Dental College as per the Dentists Act, 1948 or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Dental Council of India and should have obtained permanent registration with the State Dental Council.

Total Intake: 8 Seats

MDS courses are being offered in four Specialties (2 SEATS in each specialty)

  1. PROSTHODONTICS
  2. CONSERVATIVE DENTISTRY & ENDODONTICS
  3. ORTHODONTICS & DENTOFACIAL ORTHOPAEDICS
  4. PERIODONTICS

PERIOD OF TRAINING:

  • The Course shall be of three years duration.
  • All the students for the degree of MDS are required to pursue the prescribed course for at least three academic years as full-time students in a BDS recognized and MDS approved/recognized Institution under the guidance of the Head of the Department, who has to be a recognized postgraduate teacher in that specialty.

FEE STRUCTURE:

  • Applicable as per the Notification No. 16-04-2014-6HB-IV(3) dated 26/2/2015, Government of Haryana, Department of Medical Education & Research.
  • The tuition fee is Rs 6,85,000/- Per Annum and other charges including Library charges, Research charges, CDE CME charges, University charges, Internet charges, Sports charges and Security as approved by DMER, Govt. of Haryana & B.D. Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak.
  • Hostel Fee – Rs. 50,000/- per annum, including Mess charges.

BDS

ADMISSION CRITERIA & ELIGIBILITY:

  • BDS admissions shall be made strictly on the basis of merit in NEET-2024 and as per guidelines issued by Govt. of India/D.C.I./DMER Govt. of Haryana/Pt. B.D. Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak.
  • The Candidate must have passed Sr. School Certificate Examination (10+2) of Board of School Education, Haryana or an examination recognized as equivalent to this with at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry & Biology (PCB) taken together.
  • The candidate must have passed (10+2) examination with English as an independent subject.
  • He/She must have attained the age of 17 years for admission to B.D.S. Course on or before 31st December of the respective academic year.

Total Intake: 100 Seats

PERIOD OF TRAINING:

  • The BDS is a 5 year (4 years of academic education + 1-year mandatory internship)

FEE STRUCTURE:

  • Applicable as per the Notification No. 16-04-2014-6HB-IV(3) dated 26/2/2015, Government of Haryana, Department of Medical Education & Research.
  • The tuition fee is Rs 2,20,000/- per annum for 4 years.
  • University charges as per actual.
  • Hostel Fee – Rs. 50000/- per annum, including Mess charges.
