Fresher’s Welcome Programme "TARANG" at JCD Dental College

A Fresher’s Welcome Programme “TARANG” was organized at JCD Dental College, Sirsa to welcome the BDS 2024 batch students. Prof. (Dr.) Jai Parkash, Director General, JCD Vidyapeeth was the Chief Guest for the function. Dr. Sudhanshu Gupta, Registrar, JCDV, Principals of all constituent colleges of JCD Vidyapeeth, and all Coordinators and officers of JCDV attended the programme.

The Function began with Lamp lighting, paying floral tributes to JanNayak Chaudhary Devilal ji and Shakti dance by BDS 2024 batch students. This was followed by the welcome address by Dr. Arindam Sarkar, Principal, JCD Dental College, Sirsa. Various cultural events like Haryanvi dance, Gidda, Duet dance, Solo singing and Bhangra were performed by BDS 1st and 2nd year students.

This was followed by the introduction and gift presentation to the Fresher students by the Chief guest. Then the Mr. and Miss. Fresher contest was organized, the winner of Mr. Fresher contest was Mr. Lakshay and Miss. Sapna was Miss. Fresher of the event. Mr. Mahil and Miss Sakshi were awarded with Mr. and Miss. Talent award respectively. Mr. Tai Tara was given a Consolation prize for his overall performance. Prof. (Dr.) Jai Parkash, Director General of JCD Vidyapeeth gave away the prizes to all the winners. The Function was attended by all the faculty members and non teaching staff. The function ended with the Vote of Thanks followed by lunch.
