Anti-Ragging week from 12-08-2024 to 18-08-2024

To promote awareness, JCD Dental College, Sirsa, celebrated Anti-Ragging Week from August 12, 2024, to August 18, 2024. Various activities were organized to educate students about the importance of anti-ragging measures.

A poster-making competition was held, with enthusiastic participation from undergraduate students. The 1st prize was awarded to Minu (Intern Batch), the 2nd prize to Kajal (BDS 2nd Year), and the 3rd prize to Harshdeep (BDS 2nd Year).

This was followed by a rangoli-making competition, which was won by the BDS 2nd Year team.

A speech and slogan writing competition was also organized to further spread awareness. The 1st prize was awarded to Aakash (BDS 2nd Year), the 2nd prize to Khushi (BDS 2nd Year), and a consolation prize was given to Anu (BDS 2nd Year).

An orientation talk on anti-ragging was delivered by Dr. Yogesh Garg (Head of the Department of Public Health Dentistry) and Mr. Pitamber (Intern). Additionally, students created reels to raise awareness about ragging. The BDS 2nd Year team won the 1st prize, while the Intern Batch secured the 2nd and 3rd prizes.
